As mentioned throughout our website, I’m a huge fan of the udders coming from the lines of the “General” (SG Rosasharn MR General B +*B +*S VVE89). We’ve seen marked improvement in udders across the board. (Kate Helms was the 1st to recognize Genera being a true Udder Buck—-and she was finally able to purchase and use him in her herd—Helmstead Minis). We were beyond blessed to purchase several General daughters from Kate: Virtue (out of our doe Patience), Melee & Emblem (both found in the pedigree above).
Ettie & Secret’s dam (Treasure) is one of our beautiful younger does. As a FF, she was lovely but you could tell she needed another freshening. As a 2F, Not only did she score an EEEE91 in LA, her SG is now pending. Treasure is also a barn favorite to milk. She has a super udder (as did her dam, a General daughter), but really nice long teats!!!!
Their sire is out of Melee (also a General daughter), whose dam is a 1/2 sister to one of the prettiest, most regal Nigerians I’ve seen—-Priesty. She was born in 2010, is retired here and living out her days with full reign of the farm.
