As mentioned multiple times, many of our best does have come from CapraKoza. The Rudolphs have become dear friends of ours, so when the difficult decision to sell off their herd was made, we were most honored they chose us with their best stock. Jill's favorite doe is Goodie----just one look at her or her pedigree, and you can see why. The picture posted doesn't even come close to doing her justice.
When it came time to kid, Goodie surprised all of us (including herself) with the birth of SEPTUPLETS. I'm sure a few others have had seven babies, but never filed. We are waiting back to hear, but think Goodie may get in the Guiness Book of World Records. We were so blessed and honored to help Goodie care for her precious seven babies. She nursed all of them for over a month, then we supplemented the babies with a bottle 3x a day. This enabled her to enjoy her kids, and amazingly she never lost conditioning. By 10 weeks, we pulled her 3 buck kids, leaving Goodie with her four daughters. It was no surprise that Goodie earned her Milk Stars in both registries on her first test. By her 3rd test, she had already hit the minimum to get her AR status. This doe represents some of Rosasharn's very best genetics and I'm really excited to see how she finishes out her Milk Test.   We are so very honored to have Goodie in our herd.
