Below is a list of the culmination of young stock that represent what we have devoted so many years of hard work, a lot of expense, and personal sacrifice—-combining lines and bred to be our Keepers!!!
As stated on the home page, it’s one of the hardest & most heart wrenching decisions I’ve had to make.
Only as a result of a LOT of prayer (read: a lot of back & forth emotional dialogues with the Lord), can I say I am filled with His Peace to proceed & close-out this season of my life.
The group below are listed in 2 categories: The herd building/improving and the Performance Home (ONLY).
In my opinion, both groups would be considered foundation herd quality.

To understand why I’m being so selective w the Perfomance group, a little background is necessary:
The first full year we had goats, we tried showing. While we did excellent in the few shows we attended [BIS, GCHs, Best Udder, etc,], our animals became very sick after we had returned home. We also had enrolled in Milk Test—-and I realized I was a lot happier developing a high quality the DHI (& 1Day) and LA—MUCH rather than showing.

That said, we have been most blessed with our success in the Performance programs. Every one of the does below come from lines that were #1 doe in the nation in AGS (4 categories) & ADGA, Top 10 in both registries—-most of them in multiple categories every year. Several setting records.
Every pedigree has multiple SG or SG/Elite, or Elite does. Many of whom are still on the Elite list, in spite of being retired.

Because it takes a lot of dedication to be competitive at those levels in DHIR—I made a commitment to my buyers years ago. If you’re buying a Performance Home doe of ours, I will not sell the progeny to homes who don’t participate. (It screws up the algorithms). Unfortunately, I messed up a few times by believing those that “are planning to go on Test, next year” (then never did) or “We are taking a year off and then plan to go right back on” (they didn’t), or whatever other reasons, etc.
So, since these does represent the very best of our genetics—-and please take no offense, I will only sell to actively actively dedicated DHI herds.

Our second group are from the exact genetics but whose dams have not accrued the 10* or 11* status but still come from LA scores of 90 or above.
